Hello, fellow link builders!
Chris Le gave a fantastic presentation the other night at Triumph Brewery a hop, skip, and kite flight away from the Ben Franklin bridge in Philly, PA, home of the SEO Grail meetups, facilitated by good citizens of the community such as Bill Rowland and Bill Sebald.
Sebald hosted the meetup last night, and was kind enough to lend his insights and few moments away from the bottom of a glass to talk about:
- giving away resources, such as Chris and the SEER crew did last night, for better community engagement, branding, and incoming links
- hosting and supporting events, such as the Grail meetup series for better camaraderie and link building (see Acidre’s contextual link post.)
- the future (and impending doom?) of guest posting, using tools, such as Garrett’s Link Prospector to field and execute on guest opportunities, begetting quality incoming links.
I highly respect and look up to Bill for many professional reasons, and I really appreciate his jocose demeanor and wit in helping me bring something both humorous and educational to link builders out there.
